One Exchange Place, a 10-floor, 141-foot office building, was constructed in 1920--just as the waterfront was declining as the business center of the city. It outlived the area's downturn, though, and survived to sit among its more modern neighbors during downtown's revitalization. Particularly unique are the Greek style columns along the top of the structure.

This plaque was erected by the First National Bank of Jersey City to Edward F.C. Young, Officer of this bank from 1879-1908.
