These shots are just for fun, as I didn't have the right camera or lens handy when I finally saw who the culprit was...
I live in an area that is surrounded by protected areas, nature reserves & the Botanical Garden in Poortview (West of Johannesburg, South Africa). As a result we are fortunate enough to see birds and animals that one would not usually get to see in other city suburbs around Johannesburg.
This monkey discovered that there was always something to eat in my garden (around the bird feeder).
Shot 1: The monkey quickly grabs a piece of bead, and jumps into the tree in my backyard.
Shot 2: The monkey effortlessly runs on the telephone wire towards my neighbour's house (with the piece of bead in its mouth).
Shot 3: Just like in "The Lion King", he sits on his lookout (on a dead palm leaf), and finished his breakfast.
