Passing time in Istanbul

Fred's the lucky one this year. We just booked him a week in Istanbul with my nephew in July. My compamny might be doing business in Turkey as well, which I will also try to use to my advantage.
Still no decision on summer holiday, thinking of Armenia or Azerbaijan (which will, incidentally, probably win the Eurovision Song Contest this year).

No longer named as such it seems: rather blandly it is now the University of Edinburgh Business School (zzzzzz....). Arts & culture are so yesterday.
*But*, it has been rather nicely refurbished by LDN, with the subtle addition of the glazed upper storey, a double-height space-glass-box thing on the side (rule number one of university buildings: must have an atrium/double-height space: check), and rather splendidly-matched replacement fenestration. I like.
Slightly bizarrely, but no doubt something to do with EU tendering rules, Page\Park will be doing the same sort of thing with AFB's sister block, William Robertson... As it is also Category B Listed the treatment is expected to be identical to this, and I'm sure it will be equally splendid when completed. Whether the University will insist on blandly renaming that as well remains to be seen...
The UoEBS was also shortlisted for the Andrew Doolan Award 2011.
