Samsung to Launch the 4th Innovation and Technology Council for SMEs

Samsung Electronics held a ceremony to celebrate the launch of the 4th Innovation and Technology Council for SMEs at Samsung Digital City in Suwon on the 21st. The council started back in 2010 when Samsung Electronics first began looking for its potential business partners with advanced technologies and capabilities. It has since evolved into a SME support system open to any companies without previous business tie with Samsung. Samsung offers technology development fund, and chances to cooperative under joint or new product development projects to the members.
삼성전자, 중소기업 육성위한 '4기 혁기회' 출범
삼성전자는 21일 수원 '삼성 디지털 시티'에서 우수한 기술을 보유한 중소기업 발굴과 육성을 위한 '혁신기술기업협의회(이하 혁기회)' 4기 출범식을 가졌다. '혁기회'는 뛰어난 기술과 역량을 보유한 중소기업을 발굴하고 비즈니스 파트너로 육성하기 위해 삼성전자가 2010년부터 실시하고 있는 중소기업 지원제도로서 미거래 기업도 참여 가능하다. 삼성전자는 혁기회 회원사를 대상으로 기술개발 자금 지원, 공동 개발 과제 추진, 신제품 개발 참여 등의 기회를 제공하고 있다.
