Some cool on line business images:
Milwaukee Road bus car LaUS
Image by THE Holy Hand Grenade!
This ex-Milwaukee Road business car was seen at the Los Angeles Union Station, tacked on as the last car of an Amtrak Surfliner. Taken by a Nikon D40x with a Nikon 18-55mm VR kit lens (at 22)
This car was either tacked on for extra passenger capacity, or was being hauled for its private owner. The blue car on the left (seen fully in the next shot in my photostream) is also presumably on the train for the same reason as this one. The Santa Anita horse racing season was on, so capacity needed to be expanded: the train I caught was two normal consists, back to back.
The photographer, who had arrived on a Metrolink, (San Bernadino line) but missed the Surfliner that this car was attached to, and had to take the next one (the coodination of the Metrolink schedules with the Amtrak train's schedules [Surfliners, in particular] at LAUS s***s, BTW., you don't have time to duck downstairs for a ticket to the Amtrak train, and get back to the tracks!)

...(previously)...
Then having a nice duo-tone abstract graphic, what else could I do other than slap it on my business cards. And for my show at Artista Vista I decided that I need hipster buttons to give out instead of the usual cards and notes. They were an instant hit, and I got the small glee of having other artists advertising for me. After passing them around amongst my friends, they've taken on a life of their own and I occasionally see them gracing the messenger bags, guitar straps and jackets of folks I don't even know.
So now you know what this is and where it all started.
I should add, that if you want to do a button trade, drop me a line. I've still got plenty.
